O&C:

Take away last week from @oandcthefreshmarket Jal el deeb. Total score: 7/10. Salmon illusion 20pc set for 66 000 LL and Queen specialty pcs set 8pcs for 39 000 LL.

Pros :

+ Well prepared fresh big pieces wraps rich in fish 🐟
+ Salmon is imported and good quality (but not great see cons)
+ Good sushi rice, and good fish to rice ratio in most pieces
+ Great presentation in a plastic tray
+ Big ripe avocado 🥑pieces.

Cons :

– Sashimi salmon pieces are small and a little chewy, not too fatty or too flavorful (probably cut from near tail area). Maybe they use different salmon parts for pcs outside set. Overall tasted better raw salmon.
– Queen set in specialties isn’t that special, not worth paying more for it
– There’s often a slight fishy smell at O&C in raw salmon, maybe because it is a fishery and types get mixed in storage a little but can’t be sure

Conclusion:

Recommended overall, at around 3500LL/pc for good quality sushi, but can be better. Other sets and menu items are more expensive though.
