Sushi dinner @saigon.asianfood Naccache – January 2019. A fairly newly opened place.
Expected a high end sushi place with high prices. The place was above expectation, high end and also relatively affordable.
Pros:
Everything was fresh. Fresh salmon, very well stored, served with an ideal temperature. The most attractive order was the salmon sashimi plate, 10 sashimi pcs for 12 000 LL, which is very affordable. The scallops and hamachi white fish sashimi were very fresh and good quality as well. The ura makis were very well mixed, with raw and grilled fish, avocado and spices. Prices in general are average, around 10 000 LL for a 4 pieces ura maki salmon order. The presentation was attractive, especially for the Vietnamese dishes; rice served inside a pineapple. The place’s decoration is cool and atmosphere is cozy.
Cons:
The marinated salmon bowl had an average taste, no special mix. The Vietnamese dishes were good but not exceptional. I preferred the sushi.
