OPEN SUSHI @trisleb Hazmieh @citywalklb December 2018.

If you like Tri S Hamra, you will love its rich open sushi formula (Monday to Thursday, could be daily by now) at the citywalk hazmieh branch (and lunch time in Hamra branch).

Pros:

The fish is fresh, as usual. Tasty crab 🦀 . The variety in the open sushi is relatively (to other open sushi restos) very rich. The crazy salmon salad is included in the formula (either crazy salmon or crazy crab). A big selection of ura makis and special makis. Avocado wraps, teriyaki mixes, cheese, and grilled fish… Variety and presentation is very attractive. The ura maki topped with salmon (in 2nd photo), the cheese salmon and shrimp wrap were the tastiest. The rice 🍚 is not much in pieces and the pieces are big (watch out not to order too many). A small combination of Fruits and Mochi is offered as dessert. The formula has a very competitive price at 29$/person.

Cons:

Personally, I don’t like Tri s’ general fish marination taste which most of the times includes Wasabi sauce, similar to the one they use with the crazy salmon salad (they need to change that sauce marination as many people commented). The plain salmon taste was good, but could be better. Some pieces were very good, others not that much (the grilled salmon had a powder-ish texture).

Conclusion: Recommended to try. The variety is colorful.
Different new fish marinations are needed.
