Open sushi @kamisushi_byblos jbeil. Mondays only now for 90 000 LL/person. Disclaimer: after checking the quality of the salmon in fridge and making sure it is imported and not local trout, I told them it was me (probably didn’t affect quality, however I can’t be 100% sure). Total score: 7.5/10

Pros :

– High quality real salmon (not local trout)
– High value for money viewing quality (even at 90 000 LL/person)
– Very big variety (everything almost included except sashimi), + crab salad + miso soup
– Good enough rice to fish ratio
– Appealing setting and location in Jbeil area
– Professional and friendly manager (being transparent about quality with everyone)

Cons :

– Not very tasty crab salad, tastes plain.
– Tuna is different from the imported tuna (still fresh from near cyprus sea but darker and different in color)
– Limited open sushi: Mondays only, 50% capacity (protection standards). Not much attention to it. Book before going.

Conclusion:

Recommended. During my visit, it was among the tastiest open sushi formulas currently (still have a couple places to cover).
