Oshima sushi bar – Spinneys Jnah – August 2018 – Open sushi (Every monday for 27$).

Pros:

Big portions. Good quality ingredients. Fresh salmon and crab 🦀. Salmon salad is included in the open sushi, not just a crab salad choice, and one sashimi order per person. A soft drink is also included. Good pieces mixes in general (crispy, avocado…). .

Cons:

Although the price seems attractive, it is not like other formulas where you choose what to order. In this open sushi formula you are offered 50% crab pieces and 50% salmon pieces, and the variety is small (check last picture). If you’re like me and prefer to eat almost only salmon, this can be a big con and an average value for money.
And some orders have a little too much extra sauces.

Conclusion: Much better quality than expected. If you like to mix your pieces 50 50 between crab and salmon, recommended open sushi place for you. If not, go for the regular menu or other offers. Note that the place is a small sushi bar inside Spinneys jnah supermarket chain, suitable for a quick sushi bite.
