Scoozi Verdun @scoozilebanon – Open sushi at the conveyor – April 2018

Score: 6-6.5/10

Pros:

good salmon quality overall, the sashimi pieces were fresh. Juicy pieces due to well mixed and soft tasting rice. Big formula: appetizers (1 calamari, 1 spring roll, 1 cheese roll) + miso soup + crab salad + 9 pieces of salmon sashimi + makis + desert.

Cons:

Very little variations on the conveyor; barely 5 to 7 kinds of pieces. Only a couple salmon and crab variations and barely no shrimp, no cheese, no tuna (they offered a couple special pieces at the end). The crispy was too oily especially noticeable when they mixed it with the sashimi to make a salmon salad (couldn’t finish it). Pieces mixes were kind of poor in general. The price was above average for around 37$ per person. The staff was not welcoming nor friendly, no one even offered to explain the open sushi formula.

The experience is Not really worth the price, but also not a bad fish and rice quality overall.
