  • Not bad value for money

Cons

  • Mixes not very tasty: almost no rice, cold fish temperature

Dinner at Wakame Gemmayze – January 2019.

Good Quality and Pricing, fixing some details can further improve the experience.

Pros:

Good fish quality and great salmon sashimi taste. No watery taste, rich fish flavor. Ordered the 32 pieces for 32$ offer which includes around 20 pieces with salmon. Big pieces, free appetizer “prawn crackers” served. (We ordered 2 orders in addition to the offer). Good value for money.

Cons:

Temperature of the food served was too cold, the teriyaki sauce on pieces was a bit rigid (like ketchup texture). There was very little rice in pieces (which is usually a good thing being rich in fish), but with very cold big pieces, it was a bit too much fish with no special mix. The crab looked as if it was just taken out of the freezer (stuck together), and the crispy was too little and not crunchy.

Conclusion: Good quality but needs more attention to details and storage. The pieces are almost identical to sushi star’s pieces, which is why I gave them the same rating. They offer open sushi as well, try it out.
