Sushi @sobeirut ashrafieh. High end place in Ashrafieh. Compared to other high end expensive places, the value for money is better. Score: 8/10 (great but some improvements are still needed)
Pros :
+Premium quality scottish salmon +Good quality crab and shrimp +Tasty well cooked dumplings +Crispy is crunchy as it’s supposed to be +Good presentation +High end ambience (a little too high end) +Knowledgeable and friendly manager
Cons :
-The rice used is not Japanese short grain, it’s regular length (probably because of current supply limits) -The temaki seaweed is moist and not crunchy (Kampai’s temaki is better). Nori should be roasted. -A couple nigiri salmon pieces looked low fat, as if cut from tail not belly. -Some waiters weren’t friendly.
Items not to miss:
Salmon Tataki, Maki spicy salmon, Maki dragon.
Pricing:
expensive place especially for the pieces at around 25 000 LL per piece. But good value for money and other not so expensive dishes (compared to Kampai; bill in last slide).
Conclusion:
if you’re looking for a high end place, So is a good choice. PS: they also have Italian. Would you try it?
