Open sushi score at Sushi Bento Abra, Saida.

The place offers good sushi (regular sushi set review score I gave was 8/10). But they offer the most limited open sushi open sushi formula and open sushi hours in Lebanon (28$ per person). Better to choose a regular set menu.

Pros:

The ingredients are fresh: crab  , salmon. Very good fish taste. Fresh avocados and the crispy they make for the crispy ura makis is one of the best (actually very crunchy as it is supposed to be), so make sure to order crispy ura makis.

Cons:

As said above, they offer the most limited open sushi formula and open sushi hours. They usually choose the pieces for you and prepare those included in the formula. The formula barely includes 2 to 3 kinds of pieces with salmon, some crab pieces and I think no shrimp in ura makis. I am pretty sure they don’t allow you to choose salmon as the majority of your pieces and have to offer around half of your order as crab pieces (they allowed us to order mostly salmon as we were surprised/disappointed with the formula). It is one of the few open sushi formulas that don’t include a crazy salad. Open sushi hours are from 2pm to 8pm every Monday and Wednesday. Finally the rice was a overcooked which causes stomach bloating and me ordering much less.

Conclusion: Not recommended for open sushi. They limit its formula in a way so that no one orders it. But recommended for regular sushi. Set menus are good and pieces are big.
