Sushi Joint:
I usually as you noticed try not to name the restaurants where I have really bad experience or with really bad food. But this time was a totally bad experience from sushi quality to customer service.
Ordered a take away Friday from sushi joint bouchrieh. I had already asked many times about the salmon before ordering and they confirmed it is imported Norwegian salmon, and not local trout. The salmon looked pale and with a sloppy texture. Tasteless and with a weird taste. The two last pictures in the post is a picture of their salmon last year and their “salmon” yesterday.
🔴 I called the next day to ask about which salmon 🐟 brand they got to be sure it was salmon. The woman there (the owner’s sister), refused to tell me which brand they get, then claimed she doesn’t know. I asked to talk to the owner or someone who knows after explaining that I am currently not eating randomly and need to be sure before ordering, she also refused, and literally told me “l salmon taba3na ma tayeb ma tekol 3anna, ma byeswa, kol gher mahal”.
Knowing that many other restaurants using trout disclosed it when asked and I never posted their names because they were being transparent with customers.
Places like sushi joint offering such low quality food and customer experience are benefiting from mixing low quality ingredients with sauces and probably using trout or low quality frozen fish and lying to people, while refusing to disclose their source and not caring about customers (because they’re already attracting people with their low quality offers).
Conclusion:
In summary, this was one of the most unprofessional service and low quality sushi experience I have ever had. 4 or 5/10 is a very generous score considering how they handle their service.
